We are so excited to share that Dr. Jade Sanders will join our team of caring, compassionate, and competent pediatricians in December 2024.
Dr. Sanders graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. She then earned a master’s degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and received her medical degree from The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Sanders went on to complete her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center, where she later joined the General Pediatrics and Community Health Division. One of the most meaningful compliments received during her vetting process came from a prior supervisor, who said, ‘I would trust Dr. Sanders to be my own child’s pediatrician”. This high praise speaks volumes, especially coming from such an experienced and discerning pediatrician.
Dr. Sanders’ departure from the Children’s National team was bitter sweet. While she will deeply miss many of her patient families, she is excited about joining the close-knit community and experiencing the continuity of care that drives our practice at Silver Spring Pediatrics. Adding to the excitement, our practice is closer to her home in Takoma Park, Maryland, where she lives with her husband, and near to Sligo Creek, where she enjoys running and cycling. In her free time, Dr. Sanders loves reading romance and historical fiction, practicing yoga, and exploring the outdoors, both locally and across the country. She’s well on her way to achieving her goal of visiting every state at least once.
